Spy Shots: 2013 Nissan Altima accidentally revealed in official video
Filed under: Spy Photos, Sedan, Nissan, Design/Style

It looks as if Nissan may have inadvertently revealed part of the 2013 Altima ahead of its debut. The keen-eyed crew over at Inside Line spotted a completely undisguised version of the four door in a promotional video on Nissan Japan's YouTube channel. While we've seen test vehicles in various states of disrobe for a few months now, this is the clearest view yet of the next-generation Altima. We can clearly see the vehicle's 370Z-inspired headlights and the hint of a more pronounced grille as well as more emotive bodywork.
You may recognize that character line as the similar to the one found on the 2013 Pathfinder. Were we the betting types, we'd say we can expect to see that detail crop up on other Nissan offerings soon as well.
Will the new lines be enough to help the Altima keep its momentum up in the family sedan marketplace? We're going to hold off judgement until we see the final product in the flesh, but we will say the vehicle will find itself nose to nose with some increasingly threatening competition. With redesigned versions of the Ford Fusion, Volkswagen Passat and Toyota Camry intent on carving out larger slices of the mid-sized pie, the 2013 Altima will have its work cut out for it.
As you might expect, Nissan has since nixed the video with the Altima in it, but Inside Line was quick enough to grab a few screen shots. Head their direction for a closer look.

Question by ocaoimh@btinternet.com: Do I require preparing permission for my shed?
I am planning to do up my shed, but I do not want to have to apply for organizing permission. How considerably function can I do to it with no applying - can I reroof it with slate, can I construct the walls out of brick, or does it have to stay wood?

Fighter misses out on UFC debut with ankle issue: Sean Loeffler suffers injury in warm ups

What a bummer for Sean Loeffler. The 29-year-old was set to make his debut at UFC on Fuel TV 1, but apparently injured himself just before the fight.
MMAjunkie reported that Loeffler's opponent Buddy Roberts, also making his debut, was paid his win and show money. Loeffler was also paid his show money. That's a great gesture for two guys who were minutes away from laying it on the line.
Matchmaker, matchmaker: Fights for ?Mayhem,? Evan Dunham and Eddie Alvarez

Though MMA's spring schedule is not as dizzying as its winter pace, there are plenty of fight cards that need filling. To that end:
-- Jason "Mayhem" Miller will take on C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146 on Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas. This is Miller's first fight since losing the Michael Bisping at "The Ultimate Fighter" season 14 finale. Dollaway has been finished in his last two bouts, a TKO to Jared Hamman and a KO to Mark Munoz.
-- Evan Dunham and Edson Barboza will also meet at UFC 146. Dunham just fought at UFC on Fox 2, scoring a win over Nik Lentz. Known for his powerful striking, Barboza has never lost. His knockout of Terry Etim at UFC 142 was called one of the best knockouts in UFC history.
-- In Bellator, Eddie Alvarez and Shinya Aoki are expected to meet in April. Alvarez was submitted by an Aoki heel hook in 2008. After that loss, he won seven straight before losing a classic title bout to Michael Chandler. Aoki is currently holds the DREAM lightweight belt.
Who will win these bouts? Talk to us in the comments, on Facebook, or on Twitter.

Apple says iCloud and MobileMe push email down in Germany, due to Motorola lawsuit (Update)
Cupertino says it is has suspended push email via iCloud or MobileMe for users in Germany, due to "recent patent litigation by Motorola Mobility." Numerous disputes currently rage between the two companies, but this issue likely relates to a recent injunction Motorola won against iCloud. Push still works for Contacts and Calendars, but there's a page up on Apple's German support site (see the source link) telling people to use the Fetch settings on their iOS device to collect emails. There's a similar page on Apple's US site giving the same instructions to users who are travelling to Germany. Meanwhile, push email for OS X and via other service providers such as Microsoft Exchange Active Sync, is unaffected.Update: We've heard back from Apple and for its part, it is treating this as no big deal, focusing on the fact that it only applies to push email specifically and customers can still receive their emails other ways as mentioned above. As it is, it says this will affect only a "limited number of customers." Check after the break for the company's statement.

Women?s star Rousey thinks commission testing for marijuana is flat out wrong
And you thought Ronda Rousey was a beast when she has a limb in her grasps. The real animal inside emerged recently when she was asked about Nick Diaz's positive test for marijuana following his fight at UFC 143.
Rousey is outraged that marijuana is part of athletic commissions' banned lists across the United States.
"The athletic commissions testing for marijuana is an invasion of privacy. I don't think that's constitutional at all. There's no real reason that they should be able to test and make the athletes conform to their political ideas," Rousey told MMAWeekly radio.
This was the second time Diaz tested positive in the state of Nevada. Due to attention deficit disorder, Diaz has a medical marijuana card in California, but that doesn't supersede commission policy. Rousey said that's Diaz's personal business and state commissions are poking their beaks where they don't belong.
"They have just as much of right to say that 'you know what? We don't believe that athletes should be promiscuous so we're going to start testing for genital herpes and genital warts,'" said Rousey.
Then Rousey went completely off the rails.
"'We're going to start testing women for birth control because we don't think you be having premarital sex,'" Rousey said. "They don't have a right to do it. It has nothing to do with sports."
Nevada State Athletic Commission chairman Keith Kizer disagrees.
"The drug is banned because of the damage it does to the person taking it. It could make you lethargic, slow your reflexes, and those are dangerous things in a combat sport," Kizer told the L.A. Times in 2009.
Apparently Rousey has never seen that explanation.
"Anyone who is stupid enough to say that smoking weed enhances your performance has never fougt or never smoked weed," Rousey said. "It actually lowers your testosterone. It doesn't help you in anyway at all."
Diaz is likely to appear in front of the commission in April. The normal suspension for a positive marijuana test is six months, but this is offense No. 2 for Diaz. Boxer Matt Vanda appeared for a second offense last month. He received a one-year suspension and was docked 40 percent of his purse.
